Congratulations, Ms. Jada Daly!  She was awarded the Sharon Matola Conservation Scholarship from The Belize Zoo.  She just graduated from Sacred Heart Junior College - magna cum laude, wow! - with an Associates in Natural Resource Management.  She'll be attending Galen University and will go for a Bachelor's in Environmental Science.  Awesome to see.  Thanks, TBZ, for investing in the future of Belize.

The Institute for Social & Cultural Research is bringing the Magical History Tour to the San Ignacio & Santa Elena House of Culture on Thursday, September 3rd, and the Benque HoC on the 4th. Assad Shoman, author of our history book, will be presenting at the event. Register ahead of time at https://tinyurl.com/Magical-History-Tour

"Join us and historian Assad Shoman on the Belize @45 Magical History Tour, coming your way soon, as we dig into the parts of our story that don't always make it into the textbooks.

They'll be talking about the Enhanced Direct Access Project, and would like input and ideas from the community.
