Discover everything you need to know about Low E Glass from Denver's top window experts. Learn about its benefits, types, and how it can improve energy efficiency in your home. What is Low E Glass? An In-Depth ExplanationLow-E, which stands for low-emissivity, is glazing with a microscopically thin, translucent layer that reflects. Infinity from Marvin Windows provides an energy-efficient solution to your Denver home's climate control needs. Featuring Low E Coatings on glass surfaces that reduce heat and light transmittance, our products meet ENERGY STAR® guidelines for climates nationwide, ensuring a dependable reduction in dependence on costly AC units or furnaces all year round. When the temperature soars, ordinary window glass can’t handle the heat. And tinted glass spoils the view. Cardinal LowE³-366, however, has been specially formulated to reject the sun’s heat without affecting the view. It lets more light in and keeps more heat out. So your home stays cool and comfortable. Our patented LoE-366 coating provides the ultimate in performance of all our LoE products. It’s also the one glass you can use to be compliant in every ENERGY STAR zone – in a double-pane window. Couple it with LoĒ-i89®, and you’re compliant in the North. Its low SHGC makes it compliant throughout the rest of the country as well. It’s the perfect glass wherever you live. How Does Low E Glass Work? For years, Cardinal has been setting the standard for energy efficient glass. Top-of-the-line residential window and door manufacturers all rely on our high quality. Our patented state-of-the-art sputter coating processes are unmatched by any other glass manufacturer. What’s more, Lodz-366 provides exceptional fading protection as well. It blocks 95% of the sun’s damaging ultraviolet rays (a leading cause of fading), so it will help your furniture, carpets, curtains and wall coverings stay beautiful for years to come. Benefits of Low E Glass for Denver HomesDuring cold weather, the insulating effect of your windows directly impacts how your rooms feel. Typically, 75% of the exposed surface of a window is glass, and the temperature of the room-side of the glass directly affects the air temperature in the room. The better insulated the window glass, the warmer your room will be. Read the full article at: What is Low E Glass?

Even with new construction, the Denver metro area is looking for solutions to a growing problem with homelessness. In some cases, people are leaving the city to find shelter.
In Denver, crime, drugs, and alcoholism among the homeless population are a worry due to several reasons: Safety Concerns: Increased crime rates within homeless communities can affect both the homeless individuals and the general public. Instances of theft, assault, and property damage may rise, impacting overall safety in the city. Public Health Issues: Drug and alcohol abuse can lead to a range of health problems, including addiction, mental health issues, and the spread of infectious diseases. Lack of access to healthcare and proper hygiene facilities further exacerbates these concerns. Social Instability: Homelessness often stems from various underlying issues, such as poverty, mental health challenges, and substance abuse. This cycle of instability can perpetuate itself, making it difficult for individuals to find stability and resources to overcome their circumstances. Strain on Resources: The strain on public resources increases as law enforcement, healthcare facilities, and social services respond to the needs of the homeless population. This can impact budgets and limit resources for other critical areas. Economic Impact: Crime and drug-related activities can deter potential investors, tourists, and businesses from the area, affecting the city's economic growth and development.
Addressing these issues requires a comprehensive approach that involves providing affordable housing, access to mental health and addiction treatment, and social support services to help individuals reintegrate into society and break the cycle of homelessness.

Colorado maintains a solid reputation for craft beer, but long before extreme hops hit the scene, Wynkoop Brewing Company in downtown Denver churned out great suds and casual fare to go with them. Now, it's making the 34-year-old mainstay even better with a new culinary team, events space and tasting room. Executive chef Chris Collins, who joined the brewpub at the end of 2021, has kept the menu approachable, but there’s also a little more adventurous food available, according to vice president of operations Amanda Young. "I think you would be surprised that you could get something like coffee-rubbed brisket or some of the specials the chefs are putting out," Young said. "We do try to elevate our dishes and beer."

Hold on to your seats folks, there's a new film in town and it's buzzing with Shia LaBeouf as the star of the show! "Padre Pio" has finally made its way to the states, and oh boy, what a ride it's been.
Brother Jude Emmanual Quinto, a Denver-based Capuchin, shares his experience of introducing actor Shia LeBeouf to the Gospel for his role as Padre Pio. Reviews are still pouring in, but there's one lesser-known fact that's got everyone excited: Shia LaBeouf's real-life conversion to Catholicism. That's right, portraying the revered saint and confessor has led LaBeouf down a path of faith that has been nothing short of miraculous. From living with Capuchin Franciscan friars at a friary in California to speaking in-depth with Bishop Robert Barron about his journey, LaBeouf has embraced Catholicism and is currently undergoing OCIA. Can you believe it? I sure can't wait to see what the future holds for this newly converted Catholic star. Thanks to divine intervention, LeBeouf is now on his way to becoming a catechumen and a fellow brother in the Catholic Church. Brother Jude humbly asks for prayers to support LeBeouf on his spiritual journey.

Trey Parker and Matt Stone are living a 'nightmare' with their Casa Bonita dream. When will the beloved establishment finally open?
The answer to that question’s a complicated one, and first, we need to review exactly what’s going on with the South Park creators’ quest to reopen the shuttered landmark with actual “good food,” not the stuff that makes everyone only remember the fountain-waterfall attractions and maybe the sopapillas. In mid-2021, the pair announced their purchase of a Denver, Colorado Casa Bonita location, and Parker even bought a nearby home on South Park avenue, but achieving the full-on dream has turned out to be a much more long-winded endeavor than the duo’s on-the-fly approach to tackling timely episodes of Cartman and frenemies.
