Career planning is not something that many of us do very well, or even think about at all.
Trish Sadar's insight:

At dinner last night with my husband began asking our parents questions regarding how they began their careers.  It was interesting that each of our parents told stories of how their careers just happened by chance.

 

So much has changed since then.  Long are the days when a person could start a job, and plan on retiring at the same company as long as they did their work well and showed up each day on time.

 

While it is true that the landscape has changed, I believe that there are so many opportunties as long as we do our homework, have a plan, keep up with required skills, and are flexible in how we repackage our skills and experience.

If you have been wanting to change, start, or take action on something that is important to you...what is stopping you?  Okay, I know how busy you are, I know how much you are juggling, etc.

 

I also know that what you want to do is proably burning inside of you.  So I urge you to read this article, and decide today to take action...one small step forward towards something that you have been meaning to do.  Remember, no excuses only possibilities and solutions.
