Gamifying your classroom can add excitement and engagement to education. Choosing a theme is crucial, whether it's based on movies/TV shows, classic games, or game shows, as it sets the tone for the gamified experience. Creating teams and promoting team building enhances the gamification process and can be tailored to the specific needs of your students.

Digital badges have been around for several years, but still have a way to go until they are fully integrated and recognized appropriately in education and in the world of work. The fact that Moodle, a widely-used and free system for online instruction, has integrated them in their system is definitely a step in the RIGHT direction. Go Moodle!
