This article explains or gives examples of how mobile gaming devices can be utilized for educational purposes. The article explains how video games are now being created to implement learning concepts like math and reading. This i can relate to because at times i will give a lesson on sedimentary rocks or the formation of coal and students will give me a game that they play and explain to me how they have to read a small passage before advancing and they even give me the formation of coal process that they learned n that particular game. Which to me is excellent because they spend so much time playing video games it is nice to know that at least they are integrating lessons into these games. The article as well went on and added a Ted ed video that explains the 7 learning principles that we can take and apply into education as well as business and in multiple ways. These are: experiencing bars which measure progress, multiple long an short term aims to access progress, rewards for efforts that would be used as motivational tools, rapid, frequent and clear feedback with will allow for data collection and it's intentional use, and how to relate back to the learner, and element of uncertainty which is explained as the unknown reward that an individual works towards that keeps them thriving for, a form of control element, windows of enhanced attention which would be the time frame or window when most learning is acquirable and the ability of retention and ability is the greatest, and finally Other people which is how we engage, and collaborate to enhance our learning through peer learning and whom we choose to associate with.

Gamifying your classroom can add excitement and engagement to education. Choosing a theme is crucial, whether it's based on movies/TV shows, classic games, or game shows, as it sets the tone for the gamified experience. Creating teams and promoting team building enhances the gamification process and can be tailored to the specific needs of your students.
