Sarah Gordon-Church's curator insight,

This is a FANTASTIC way to overcome the hesitant, fearful writer, the emerging writer, and the advanced writer all in one scoop! :) I have used this with success EVERY YEAR! The kids love it, it's relatable and produces some amazing alternatives to the boring form writing. This makes writing come alive for so many of my students! It boosts confidence and changes "Ugh, do we hafta write?" to "OOOOO! Can we do some more snapshot writing today!?!PLEASE!" |

This is such a fun activity for students in which teachers can embed different subjects in one class project.

Welcome, Ana. I've just been emailing the creator of the live binder with an update I think she'll like. You might too. It's a whole heaps of thesauruses, mostly aimed at adult writers, but useful for young writers too I think. Check out the right sidebar at this blog: http://thebookshelfmuse.blogspot.com.au
