Former pop star Gary Glitter has pleaded not guilty to eight allegations of sexual abuse against a girl aged between eight and 11. The 82-year-old, whose real name is Paul Gadd, entered his pleas via videolink from HMP Channing Wood at Southwark Crown Court. The charges include four counts of indecent assault, two of indecency with a child, and two of sexual intercourse with a girl under 13, allegedly committed between 1978 and 1981. Judge Tony Baumgartner adjourned the case for a three-week trial, scheduled to begin on 22 November 2027.The Metropolitan Police said that the allegations were first reported to the force in January 2025.
