Hertfordshire Constabulary has reopened a criminal investigation into Andrew Tate regarding allegations of rape and other offences made by three women in the UK. This new investigation follows an Independent Office for Police Misconduct (IOPC) probe into Hertfordshire Constabulary's original handling of the case between 2015 and 2019. The decision to reopen the case came after the alleged victims challenged the Crown Prosecution Service's 2019 decision to take no further action via the Victim's Right to Review scheme. This UK investigation is separate from ongoing criminal charges in Romania, where Tate faces accusations including human trafficking and rape, and an extradition request. Tate is also facing civil proceedings in the High Court from four British women alleging rape, assault, and coercive control, with a trial scheduled for June 2026; he denies all allegations.
