As much as I love mirrorless cameras, there's one thing about the current designs that unfortunately is a bit of a problem for me. The issue is the viewfinder. My problem is not the electronic display itself, but rather the physical design of the viewfinder. Most of the mirrorless cameras that I've used are a real pain to use in bright light if you're a glasses wearer.

When sony entered the mirrorless market I immediately realised the great potential of such small cameras with large sensor as perfect macro photography tools. The articulated LCD-screen, focus peeking, and the small size enable photographers to take photos from strange positions, where a DSLR wouldn't fit.

Anyone who has been involved in photography long enough should be familiar with the sometimes contentious debate about the differences, whether real or imagined, between film and digital. Which exhibits better dynamic range? Which has better resolution? How much better? The digital medium has establ…

This is not a at all a review… More like a heads-up kinda deal. I’ve been using either Elinchrom strobes or my old Nikon speedlights ever since switching to Fujis a few years ago—which essentially means I never changed a thing from the way I worked on Nikons, apart from adding a Cactus V5 trigger kit to the system.
But the Cactus V5, while reliable enough, was always a bit of a PITA: no battery indicator, AAA batteries, no automatic shutdown, tiny tiny buttons with almost invisible markin

I recently spend one week camping in the southern and south western part of Norway, on the coast line from Kristiansand to Stavanger. It's a beautiful area of Norway I think, especially in the summer. You don't have the nice deep fjords of western Norway, or the mountains of North Norway that goes steep into the sea - but this part of Norway has its beauty of its own I think.

I was originally interested in the Fujifilm 27mm lens after seeing it recommended by Eric Kim for street photography. Also my friend and awesome photographer Ryan Tacay swears by it. I managed to get my hands on one for the last few weeks and I thought I'd talk a bit about it here. With this lens I was trying to discover two things. How does it work for street photography and would it make a good all round travel lens.
Size, Weight and Handling The 27mm F2.8 is Fuji's smallest lens. When
