GEAR | JUST PUTTING SOME NEW FILM IN MY X-PRO1

GEAR | JUST PUTTING SOME NEW FILM IN MY X-PRO1 | Mirrorless Cameras | Scoop.it

I was fortunate to try the new Pro Set II presets from Rebecca Lily before they came out. These are some very fine lightroom presets aiming to make your photos look like analog film. And they do! I love the look of over-exposed Fuji 400H film and Rebecca just did the right thing to make these presets look like it.

Rebecca's Pro Set II was designed for professional photographers who shoot both, film and digital and that are often struggling to get authentic looking film colors with a digital camera. It was also developed with special attention to the Fuji color palette of X-Trans sensor cameras like the Fuji X-Pro1, X-E1, X100s etc. But I have read it also works great with Canon or Nikon cameras.

Mount Snowdon with the Fuji X100s

Mount Snowdon with the Fuji X100s | Mirrorless Cameras | Scoop.it

It was Sue's birthday. She gathered us in a big house in Llanberis in North Wales and gave us our orders. We were to climb Mount Snowdon. It was to be her final peak to climb in her list of modestly sized UK mountains to climb before thirty. My fingers crossed for the weather, I picked up my ever-so-light X100, put on my mighty-fine Brasher boots (thanks again mum!) and made sure that at least one of us was stocked up with Kendal Mint Cake.
