The EA50EH’s sensor is described by Sony as APS-C HD, but it is rated, for stills, at 16.1 megapixels. The camera will come bundled with an 18-200mm powerzoom lens, with a continuously variable iris and image stabilisation. However, the camera can also use other E-series lenses, or Sony Alpha and third-party lenses via adapters. The camera records full HD video at up to 60 or 50 fps.
The camera’s shouldermount, Sony says, can be adjusted so the camera can be used on shoulder, and handheld, in a similar way to the company’s PMW-EX3. The viewfinder is a loupe design, similar to that on the FS-100.

Está claro que en tecnología y hardware, la novedad siempre se paga, y mientras las resoluciones 4K no sean un estándar extendido en el mercado, los precios que alcanzarán televisores y monitores con estas características serán extremadamente altos.

Sony, seemingly out of nowhere, has announced a new consumer large sensor video camera called the NEX-EA50 (as usual the name just rolls off the tongue).
Some interesting Sony A99 video specs have been put into the wild from a prototype model. A full frame DSLR has the potential to seriously threaten the image quality of a $15,000 cinema camera so lets hope we see the full potential of the Sony, and not have a repeat of the 5D Mark III disapointment. As a Canon customer, I care about how my own camera performs not whether or not C300 owners are up in arms about how close the image quality is from a DSLR. Better to cannibalise yourself than let (inevitably) a competitor do it.

Prueba de ello es la recién presentada Sony PMW-200, una videocámara "broadcast" que puede controlarse remotamente a través de un teléfono móvil con sistema operativo Android o iOS. Tal y como informa la compañía japonesa, la nueva cámara, que saldrá a la venta en septiembre, acogerá a finales de año una actualización de firmware que le permitirá comunicarse con un smartphone a través un accesorio Wi-Fi opcional. Mediante una aplicación gratuita será posible de este modo modificar a distancia el zoom, el diafragma o el balance de blancos, entre otros parámetros.
