Our RAFT polymerisation process enables the production of polymers that are designed with enhanced properties for a myriad of uses across health, industry and agriculture. It is based on scalable manufacturing processes that are compatible with conventional polymerisation reactors.

A well curated Pinterest Board on 'Introduced Species' / 'Invasive Species' in Australia. Currently relevant to our year 7 science curriculum. Would make an interesting alternative starting point. This comprehensive resource has a variety of material to engage the needs of the learners. Teachers will be able to adapt the material to suit the needs of their classrooms. The lessons align with the Australian Curriculum. It also has links to other learning areas such as science.
There is a lesson plan called Rubber Band Boat Investigation where students learn about the force created when twisting rubber bands. One called Plastic Cup Votex Gliders where students also use rubber bands to test force. An Incline Plane Investigation where students discover how the slope of an incline effects the force needed to move an object.
By accessing these units of work students will use their design skills, solve problems, use their literacy skills to document findings, use their critical and creative thinking skills by organising and processing information, as well as reflecting on how the force of an object can be affected.
These units will engage students in cross curriculum priorities and general capabilities areas of literacy, numeracy, ICT, critical and creative thinking with a personal and social capability as the units can be completed as a collaborative learning exercise.
