The recent visit of Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov to Israel took place with sparse media coverage at the request of the host country. Official statements only noted that Reznikov and Eyal Khulata, Israel's National Security Council head, discussed urgent security issues. C'est un sujet géopolitique qui est passé au second plan de la crise énergétique mais qui est pourtant crucial. L'Ukraine, grande exportatrice mondiale de blé, est particulièrement convoitée pour ses terres. Or les conséquences des tensions avec la Russie pourraient provoquer de sérieux problèmes d'approvisionnement chez ses principaux importateurs de blé notamment au Maghreb mais aussi en Indonésie.
