The Canadian Horse Racing Hall of Fame is pleased to announce its 2012 Legend inductees.
The Legends section of the Canadian Horse Racing Hall of Fame honors the people and horses whose accomplishments and feats occurred a number of decades ago. These people and horses made unique contributions to horse racing in Canada and the Hall of Fame is pleased to recognize the special roles they played in the development of Canadian horse racing.

Reigning Australian Horse of the Year Black Caviar, unbeaten in 19 starts and the world’s highest-rated sprinter, will seek her 20th consecutive victory in the Sportingbet Classic Stakes (Aus-G1) over 1,200 meters (5.96 furlongs) at Morphettville on April 28, according to her trainer, Peter Moody.

Kurt Sugg scored the 2,000th win of his driving career while driving RUA Looker in Northfield Park's 12th race on Tuesday evening. They went off as the 2-5 betting choice and took the lead right off the gate. The pair never had an anxious moment at any point in the mile and won by 1¼ lengths, stopping the clock in 2:01.4.
