The new DroneDefender uses radio pulses to disable a hostile drone within a 400-meter radius. These pulses interrupt the communications system of the drone, making it think it is out of range. The drone’s safety protocols then kick in, forcing it to either hover, return to its point of origin, or descend slowly as it prepares to land. Dans un récent communiqué de presse, le groupe industriel Siemens annonce avoir investi près de 200 millions de couronnes (soit environ 21,3M€) pour l’ouverture d’un centre de production spécialisé en fabrication additive métal. Basé à Finspang en Suède, l’usine est la première du genre dans le pays et aura pour mission de fabriquer et de réparer des composants métalliques pour le secteur de l’énergie.
