Ce qui s’annonce comme une catastrophe écologique majeure se déroule actuellement dans une indifférence quasi-générale. Suite à la collision, dans la journée du 9 décembre, d’un petit pétrolier et d’un autre navire dans la rivière Sela, au Bangladesh, environ 350 tonnes de fuel se sont déversées dans la mangrove des Sundarbans, formée par le delta du Brahmapoutre et du Gange.
