Looking for an ultra chocolatey, ridiculously fudgy brownie? Look no further: these brownies are packed with three kinds of chocolate and a dose of espresso that only deepens the chocolate flavor. I think we can all agree that a silky chocolate ganache topping transforms a good brownie into a great one. And this brownie recipe is no exception; sure it'd be great without the chocolate espresso glaze, but with it? Well, it's simply transcendent. This recipe was created in partnership with Delallo®, our go-to brand for authentic Italian flavor, including pastas, sauces, and specialty imports. Brownies might just be my favorite dessert. More than cookies; more than cakes and even more than cupcakes. Their sheer density is just so dang satisfying. I don't have one single go-to brownie recipe: a best ever, all-time-favorite brownie that I reach for whenever the craving hits. Instead, I am constantly tweaking and adapting and experimenting, changing the ingredients and proportions depending

Not every Thanksgiving dish has to be larger-than-life-sized. Sometimes it's the little things that make the biggest impression. Take sweet potato casserole, for instance. Wouldn't it be better if, instead of an oversized casserole dish full of sweet slop, every person at your table got their own petite package of crispy and caramelized sweet potato, each nest topped with their own roasty toasty melty marshmallow? Sounds pretty awesome to me. The spiralizer makes easy work of this otherwise tedious dish, no peeling, boiling or mashing involved. Even with a 15-20 minute soak (our trick to getting crispy sweet potatoes) this dish easily comes together in under an hour. To make these bite-sized casseroles, simply toss spiralized sweet potato with an egg and flour mixture, and arrange in muffin cups. The cups bake up crisp on the edges and creamy in the center, with a perfectly toasted marshmallow to top it all off. While this recipe is a twist on the classic sweet potato casserole

Rich and chewy double chocolate sugar cookies spiked with bourbon and rolled in bourbon-infused raw sugar for a satisfying crunchy finish. The result is a brownie-like chocolate cookie with a beautifully crinkly top that'll knock your socks off! At this point, I've baked bourbon into bundt cakes and brownies, bourbon balls and caramel sauce... it's about time it made its way into some cookies. This is one of those recipes that exceeded my expectations on the first try. I wanted a soft, chewy chocolate sugar cookie, and boy did these deliver. And the beautifully crackly top? Well, that was an unexpected bonus. I incorporated the bourbon in the dough itself as well as in the bourbon-infused sugar in which the cookies are rolled. To make bourbon-infused sugar, combine raw turbinado sugar with a few teaspoons of bourbon in a mason jar, and then shake the dickens out of it until the sugar is evenly moistened with fragrant Kentucky gold. Even with such a small amount of bourbon, the sugar

If you thought grilled cheese couldn't get any better... try adding pickles. Golden toasty bread, gooey cheddar cheese and sweet and salty bread and butter pickles combine to make the ultimate grilled cheese sandwich. The classic grilled cheese gets a flavorful update with the addition of tangy bread and butter pickles. The pop of vinegary sweetness is the perfect compliment to the rich, melty cheddar cheese and golden toasted bread. I love me a good grilled cheese. There were few things that pleased me more than a classic grilled cheese sandwich, with toasted white bread and American cheese (yes, I was one of those picky kids who survived on starchy beige food for most of my childhood years). The *only* concession I ever made as far as additions was a bit of sliced avocado, and only then at Boogie's restaurant in my hometown (paired with a cookies 'n cream milkshake, well, it was pretty much my idea of heaven). As an adult, my tastes have matured a bit, preferring quality aged

My favorite soft amaretti cookies get a bright and fruity twist with the addition of freeze-dried raspberries. Almond and raspberry make for a perfect pairing, these luscious little cookies are proof of that. The punch of vibrant raspberry flavor comes from ground up freeze-dried raspberries, which offer an intense flavor without adding any extra moisture. In follow up to last week's soft amaretti cookie recipe, I thought I'd offer up this unique variation: raspberry amaretti! It's basically the exact same recipe with the addition of ground up freeze-dried raspberries. But that one little change makes a huge difference. I honestly can't decide if I love the originals better or this bright and fruity variation (I'll have one of each, please... don't make me decide). In fact, these turned out so well I'm tempted to try more variations. Blueberry, maybe? Or what about a chocolate version? Maybe I'll work on that one for next year! Sure, they look a little bit like smoldering meteors

Pillowy milk chocolate and Nutella mousse surrounds a rich cocoa brownie slathered with creamy Nutella. If that's not impressive enough, the whole thing is enrobed in a gorgeous milk chocolate mirror glaze and decorated with an edible gold splatter. This stunner of a cake is sure to impress your friends and family this holiday season, and with some well-planned time management, is really much easier than you might think. I've been wanting to make a chocolate mirror glaze ever since I made those blueberry mirror glazed cakes this past summer (can you blame me for wanting to mirror-glaze everything? Too pretty!) As it turns out, you can easily make milk chocolate or dark chocolate mirror glaze simply by swapping out the white chocolate. Everything else about the recipe is identical, as is the process. While I normally say, when it comes to chocolate, go dark or go home, in this case milk chocolate is the star (and I wouldn't have it any other way). Paired with Nutella, it makes for a

Tender, buttery shortbread cookies filled with a dollop of tangy mango jam and a sprinkle of hibiscus-cayenne sugar. Inspired by the mangos-on-a-stick you often see served in tropical resorts, carved into delicate flower shapes and sprinkled with lime juice, salt and cayenne pepper. It's an unexpected combination, sure, but the sweet-meets-spicy elevates the intense flavor of the fruit to an entirely different level. So if you don't have a tropical beach vacation on the horizon, these cookies are quite possibly the next best thing. This recipe is a variation on similar shortbread thumbprint cookie recipes I've made before, proving once and again that shortbread is perhaps the most versatile vehicle for just about any flavor you can imagine. Homemade fruit jam? Check. Lemon poppyseed? Yes, please (the recipe's in our book if you're curious). Dulce de leche? Double check. Chocolate ganache? oh heck yes (and gingerbread spiced, to boot!) Really, you could fill these with just about

Traditional chilaquiles feature fried tortillas in a spicy ranchero sauce. We like ours extra crunchy and topped with scrambled eggs, two kinds of cheese, sour cream, fresh radish and cilantro. Most often thought of as a breakfast dish, we like to think chilaquiles can be served any time of day and customized with whatever toppings your tastebuds like best. You can use jarred enchilada sauce if you like, but our homemade version is easy and flavor-packed. But are they chilaquiles, or are they nachos? Traditional chilaquiles are a Mexican breakfast dish born out of necessity: to use up leftover tortillas from the night before. Normally the tortillas are fried until crisp and then cooked in a spicy sauce until no longer crisp. I personally dislike soggy tortilla chips, which is why our version has noticeably less sauce than most so the chips retain their crunch. If you're a stickler for tradition and refuse to call these true chilaquiles, then breakfast nachos it is! Noted and

Matcha mint ice cream pie, anyone? Featuring homemade fresh mint ice cream with a hint of matcha for color and flavor, frozen in a sweet and salty cookie crust with a hidden layer of fudge sauce. The fresh mint flavor of this ice cream pie is what makes it truly unique, and so much better than the jarring, mouthwashy mint flavor that comes from mint extract. Once you've tried fresh mint ice cream you'll never be able to eat anything else! Matcha & mint. Mint & matcha. They just sound good together. But they taste even better together. The idea to add matcha started with a desire for a green mint without food coloring. What better natural green color is there? But in the end, the matcha does so much more than that, adding another layer of flavor to the bright, fresh mint. The easiest way to make ice cream more impressive? Put it in a pie crust. I mean, a heaping scoop of fresh mint ice cream would would be lovely and all, but when you get a crisp triangular slice of ice cream in a
