Beliebte Vornamen's name of the year is Elphi, the nickname of the Elbphilharmonie, Hamburg's striking new concert hall. Although no children have been called Elphi yet, Knud thinks it's only a matter of time. Elphi neatly represents trends like respelling of established names, and diminutives as full names.
