I think Solveig(h) sounds like a good option, as do the other S-names Duana suggests. I wasn't aware Seren was seen as a boys' name; I've always thought of it as female. (Its grammatical gender is feminine, too.)

Have you 'edda' considered this name? I haven't checked the statistics, but I wouldn't be surprised if Norse god names as a whole are on the rise, so why not Loki?
