One of the biggest struggles Thomas Rhett and his wife, Lauren, faced as new parents was choosing the right names for their daughters.

By the time I got to "Lilac" and nearly threw the book across the room in frustration, my husband sat up.

“Kindred!” he cried. “Her name is `Kindred.’”

Willa Belle and Juniper Plum where divinely chosen. I believe that children chose the body they want to be born into before they arrive EarthSide and also their name. Papa bear never talks in his sleep but one evening after we had been talking about baby names and not agreeing on any he rolled over and out of the blue he said “her name is Juniper”!! He didn’t remember saying it in the morning. And with Willa i received an email from a friend and in it was the name Willa and I just knew it was right. And funnily enough those two names where the only names we agreed on.

• His name came to me in a dream. It was so vividly clear too, clear as day - my sons name is Alder.
I woke up, remembered it, wrote it down and when I woke up - told Zack. He loved it (and up until this point we could not agree on a name)
I texted my sister and told her and she said.. “OMG I LOVE IT.. and this is so weird.. but dad came over and gave me a potted tree this morning randomly, and it was an Alder tree” - also, the majority of the trees on our new land are Alders - it just felt so right.
