Well, here's a story. Several issues to comment on here: choosing a recently-coined (I think?) acronym for the daughter's first name, the ethics of raffling her middle name choice for charity (leaving out the controversy of the chairt itself)...if it's real, we can perhaps expect to hear more of this in the next few months.

I'm sure I've read a blog post really recently that mentioned a child with a four-letter name made from his/her grandparents' initials...but I just can't find it. Anyway, I do rather like this idea. I had a schoolfriend called Imogen M., so her initials were IM, the first syllable of her name, and I always appreciated that.
