The skinflints, cheapskates and misers in the GOP leadership are accustomed to making excuses for Donald Trump, but there is no excuse his weak response to the coronavirus outbreak. GOP leaders who are running for re-election need to decide on whether they will continue to back Trump, or act on behalf of the American people. The wrong decision may be what sends them into retirement, or unemployment.
