On Tuesday, July 1, President Donald Trump's "big, beautiful bill" was narrowly passed by the U.S. Senate. Senate Democrats and their allies, including independent Sen. Bernie Sanders, universally voted against the bill along with three Republicans: North Carolina's Thom Tillis, Maine's Susan Collins and Kentucky's Rand Paul.
