Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes is not amused by President Donald Trump's demand to eliminate mail voting around the country. "After I tell him to pound sand, I will probably ask the attorney general to file suit," Fontes told Axios, noting that mail-in voting, which was used by 75 percent of Arizonans in the most recent election, is "extremely popular."

CNN’s Brianna Keilar on Monday tangled with Trump campaign adviser Mercedes Schlapp on the issue of mail-in voting. In an appearance on CNN, Schlapp opposed the idea of mail-in voting even though President Donald Trump had declared earlier in the day that “all” people should vote by mail in Florida.

According to a Reuters/Ipsos poll, 66 percent of registered voters are opposed to delaying November's election despite common concerns about the coronavirus pandemic and President Donald Trump's continued push against mail-in voting.
