David Austin and myself are really pleased to announce the official launch of the F-35B Lightning II by AOA Simulations, one of the most sophisticated jet fighter models developed for X-Plane.

After long years of waiting, a new version of the world-wide scenery shipped with Flightgear is now being rolled out. This scenery makes use of CORINE data in Europe, utilizes other custom enhancements elsewhere in the world, brings new and improved airport layouts and includes roads and other line data from the Open Street Map project. Especially in the CORINE covered regions, this leads to a much better visual appearance.

TDS is pleased to release our Boeing 787 for
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 and Flight Simulator X. Many people know there are SkySpirit series models which have roots at Project Open Sky. TDS is a small group made by former Posky members and building a new models. TDS stands for Tenkuu Developers Studio. The word "Tenkuu" is Japanese, and it means, "Heaven's sky."

Before I talk about how we land on a carrier I should explain angle of attack, or AOA. Angle of attack is the angle between the mean chord of your aircraft's wing and the relative velocity of the oncoming air. Coupled with the optical landing system it's the heart and soul of a carrier-based landing.
