It looks like I'm going to get further away from my state pension in the near future, despite ageing at the rate of approximately one day per day.
It seems as though a government review is going to look at bringing forward plans to increase the state pension age to 68, with the review obligated to report by 7 May 2023. Of course, it's likely to advocate something that's going to save the government money, and perhaps provides another example of how the current generation of pensioners continue to hold the country to ransom, given that, on average, they are net takers from the public purse.
