THE LOST TOWN OF ŚWITEŹ was created in an original combination of 3D animation and classic animation painted with oil paints. Specially-commissioned large-scale paintings were composited into a multiple-plane 3D computer generated (CG) environment using state-of-the-art digital animation and compositing techniques. This unique artistic way creates a quality in itself and an extraordinary means of expression, which is crucial in animation, where strength of content and visual form merge into a striking and meaningful fusion. Two distinct styles of paintings were used: 19th-century Slavonic paintings (such as the work of Józef Chełmoński and Aleksander Gierymski), which give the illusion of perspective and use a realistic palette, combined with the much more stylized, brightly-colored and iconic 2D paintings of the Middle Ages. Video animation réalisée avec crazytalk animator pro... ... CrazyTalk Animator is still so new that we are missing more videos by Animators using this great software. I found this one today. It's having great scenes and setups and it's showing some of the animation possibilities in CrazyTalk Animator. Very inspiring. Great work - see for your self. @safegaard

Over the two days, students will have the opportunity to build skills animating with clay, two dimensional paper cutouts, shadow puppets, and more, as well as explore sound as a creative and expressive medium. All kids in all scool´s should have this oppurtunity @safegaard

Nominated for an Oscar and for a BAFTA award, Jasper Morello is a short feature made in a unique style of silhouette animation developed by director Anthony Lucas and inspired by the work of authors Edgar Alan Poe and Jules Verne. In the frontier city of Carpathia, Jasper Morello discovers that his former adversary Doctor Claude Belgon has returned from the grave. When Claude reveals that he knows the location of the ancient city of Alto Mea where the secrets of life have been discovered, Jasper cannot resist the temptation to bring his own dead wife Amelia back. But they are captured by Armand Forgette, leader of the radical Horizontalist anti-technology movement, who is determined to reanimate his terrorist father Vasco. As lightning energises the arcane machineries of life in the floating castle of Alto Mea, Jasper must choose between having his beloved restored or seeing the government of Gothia destroyed. Set in a world of iron dirigibles and steam powered computers, this gothic horror mystery tells the story of Jasper Morello, a disgraced aerial navigator who flees his Plague-ridden home on a desperate voyage to redeem himself.

ZBrush work including the movie off how it was made. It's not an tutorial but a recording off the working process. Still there is tricks to catsh when you see how it was done. Amazing work.

Imagine having a 3D display where lighting, viewing angles and distances from the screen were not a concern. HP's Photon technology is a 3D display that remedies all of these issues, and theoretically scales to any size ...
This seems to bee a new way off using 3D technics. @safegaard
