A lovely example of an unintended consequence of the ongoing US-China trade war, with Canadian lobster fishermen the beneficiary of Chinese tariffs on the export of live lobsters from the US.

However, you have to ask if this is a good thing? The Canadian lobsters aren't the first choice of the Chinese consumer and they are only being bought because - after the imposition of the tariff - they are now cheaper than the American equivalent. This doesn't suggest to me that there are many gainers from this transaction, apart from the Canadian fishermen.
