Yanis Varoufakis outlines how he would succeed where others have failed in bolstering the EU - I'm not entirely convinced. Whilst I can see French, German and British voters are not going to be overly keen to harmonise taxes, encourage fiscal transfers within the EU or pool public debt, I'm not sure that the Varoufakis alternative, green bonds, will get much traction, not least because the vast majority of the electorate would have little chance of understanding how they work, even if the rest of the plan seems to boost national sovereignty, which has appeal.
