I rarely 'scoop' the FT but this graphic is so nice, that I feel compelled to do so. The article itself starts from the premise that measuring the cost of a full English breakfast can serve as a decent proxy for global food prices, and extrapolating from that as an indicator of future inflationary pressure.
It's just fascinating....
