Algunas de los valores añadidos que aporta la utilización de rúbricas, entre otros, son:
  • Los profesores pueden centrarse mejor en cada evento de aprendizaje para hacer frente a los elementos de la rúbrica.
  • Los docentes pueden evaluar en base a las expectativas en la rúbrica.
  • Los propios alumnos son conscientes de lo que se espera aprender desde el momento inicial
  • Las rúbricas son tangibles por escrito.
  • Los maestros disponen de un objetivo determinado que se puede explicar con mayor facilidad.
  • Las rúbricas especifican cada elemento de asignación por lo que el alumno puede enfocar más claramente hacia el objetivo a conseguir.
  • Los alumnos pueden comparar el trabajo realizado con los objetivos marcados por la antes de su presentación.
  • Las rúbricas establecen un criterio uniforme para todos los alumnos , dejando poco espacio para la calificación injusta.

Are you looking for a free, online image editor? The Edublogger has come up with three programs that meet 3 criteria:

1. It is free to use.

2. It requires no registration.

3. It provides educators and students with an intuitive, easy-to-learn photo editing tool.

Each of the 3 tools is described and there is a list of pros and cons to help you choose.

And the three tools are:

* Picadilo

* Pixlr

* Fotor

Learning to edit images is a great skill for students to learn. You might have them edit an image and use it with ThingLink allowing your students to create an interactive image for others in the class to use.

Harmittaa, kun Sparkolin ohjelmisto täytyy asentaa koneelle. Ilmainen koeaika antaisi muuten mainion mahdollisuuden kokeilla omien animaatioiden tekoa opetuskäyttöön. Tämä tekniikka on ymmärtääkseni takana esimerkiksi TEDx:n RSA  animoitujen videoiden teossa. Piirrokset elävöittävät videokerrontaa ihan toisin kuin puhuvat päät. Ei taida vanhan koneeni tehot riittää tähän asennukseen, ja työkoneelle ei voi asentaa omia ohjelmia. Mutta kertokaa paremmin varustetut, jos onnistuitte tekemään joitain helmiä tällä työkalulla!

El Gamification World Congress celebra su tercera edición en Barcelona. Es el evento más grande de este tipo en Europa

el fenómeno de gamificación es imparable. Se gamifican las empresas, se gamifica la enseñanza.


En tiempos de crisis es importante que el trabajador se sienta valorado. Y tal vez sea esta una de las razones del atractivo de la gamificación en España. “En momentos como este, hay una necesidad de aportar nuevos valores y de sacar los negocios adelante”, coincide Joan Arnedo, profesor de la Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC). Ha dictado talleres sobre esta técnica y este año busca a su primer doctorando en gamificación.

Jornadas JUTE 2014 - 15 y 16 de mayo en Toledo

El otro día leí no se dónde [véase Addenda 1] que, si los MOOC son la repuesta, ¿cuál es la pregunta? Supongo que dependerá mucho que quién se hace dicha pregunta. Yo tengo la mía, naturalmente. Pero es un poco larga. De hecho, me costó casi dos horas explicarla en las JUTE 2014 (Jornadas Universitarias de Tecnología Educativa) celebradas en Toledo el 15 y 16 de mayo. Aquí está la presentación que utilicé, por si le sirve a alguien.
