Andoni González nos facilita en este buen artículo 40 herramientas muy útiles con las que poder hacer varias funciones como: preparar presentaciones, editar imágenes, trabajar con vídeos, realizar mapas mentales, capturas de pantalla, trabajar con revistas digitales, hacer tablones de anuncios, carteles digitales, códigos QR personalizados e incluso conversores de formatos de archivos.

Hoy les presentamos un interesante vídeo explicado por un niño, en el que muestra de manera muy entendible (inglés) y visual, 10 App educativas que utiliza para sus aprendizajes escolares. Para aquellos profesores que se disponen a integrar el iPad en el aula puede ser muy aconsejable ya que muestra diferentes usos de ésta tecnología en una fase inicial, de adatación: agenda, calculadora, diccionario, biblioteca, lector digital de libros, álgebra, etc.

Nearpod permite el uso de iPads en el aula (digo en porque deben estar en la misma red wifi), a los cuales el docente enviar una presentación con una serie de dispositivas explicativas ayudadas de otras que permiten la realización de actividades en tiempo real , lo que no es menos importante, recibir un feedback instantáneo.

Me ha parecido que puede ser de gran interés para todos aquellos profesores y profesoras que están trabajando con tabletas Ipad y que se pierden en el mar de aplicaciones de la App Store esta clasificación tomada de Langwitch que las organiza en función de determinadas taxonomías y objetivos educativos. Son imágenes, así que no permiten hacer clic para abrir cada una de las aplicaciones, sino que se debe escribir su nombre en un navegador o en la App Store para obtenerlas.

¿No te ha pasado alguna vez que estás explicando algo en particular en el aula, lo representas en la pizarra y una vez terminado se queda allí y no te lo puedes llevar contigo? ¿Qué te parecería si te digo que no sólo existe la posibilidad de que te lo lleves contigo sino que puedes reutilizarlo para otra clase e inclusive puedes crear videotutoriales? I started my teaching career at an international school in Egypt. This school had a very structured curriculum and used standardized testing very often. I learned a lot from working there, I have to admit. But one thing I found rather displeasing about the curriculum was that it only encouraged and facilitated individual learning. There weren’t many opportunities for group work or collaborative learning.
