This article on the Top 5 Youtube Resources for the Social Studies Classroom is an important twenty-first century resource. It makes it clear that history teaching is being transformed by video. Youtube is allowing for an engaging, informative process to be understood and learnt by students. For example, the history channel provides relevant historical information through videos in a visually engaging way. I think that YouTube is a great platform to show historical information and allows students to build and improve on their knowledge and understanding.

YouTube is incredibly useful in finding short videos that explain historical concepts very simply. This allows students to be engaged and can also listen to a different person explaining a concept. This is also very helpful for audio and visual learners.

Great tool for any classroom! Especially in my geography class. This is a tool i am very excited to use to help make the learning experience for my learners more interactive and try and get away from the old school boring power point style of teaching with slides like they are stuck in an information seminar! Learning should be fun!! The possibilities on how i can use it is endless; from introducing new lessons or tasks to rapid recall activities from previous lessons. It really is a great tool
