Extensive Garageband iPad Tutorial

Extensive Garageband iPad Tutorial | iGeneration - 21st Century Education (Pedagogy & Digital Innovation) | Scoop.it
In this post we have tried to collect all the tips, sources, tweaks, methods and much more to help you comprehensively use GarageBand for iPad.
James sumner's curator insight, July 16, 2018 3:12 PM
This here is a separate guide to help you understand how to use the program Garageband on an iPad. Because operate in this program on an iPad is a bit different than the laptop. It still has some of the best sound quality is that a music production program can offer.
Emma Di Marco's curator insight, May 19, 2021 4:28 AM
GarageBand is an amazing program and one that has the potential to transform music classrooms. Far more than just a tool to record music, GarageBand provides a simple to use and effective platform for students to record, compose, improvise, and explore digital music-making.

Within the classroom, once students have mastered the basic interface and key features, they are able to compose extensively and without knowledge of music notation. They are able to perform directly into the software via the 'digital' instruments (keyboard, guitar, drum set, for example) or they are able to connect microphones and develop their production skills to record live instruments/vocals.

The inbuilt AI (such as the preprogrammed "drummers") alongside the ability to import video and develop soundtracks/scores is why I have selected this to be the key artefact in a learning sequence focussed on Video Game music for Year 9's.

3 iOS Apps That Make it Simple for Recording Your Music | iGeneration - 21st Century Education (Pedagogy & Digital Innovation) | Scoop.it
Musicians always have the desire to record our music, be it our own or that music we are listening to around us. They also have longed for a way to quickly capture musical thoughts and ideas that p...
Javier Purdiman Jr's curator insight, October 19, 2020 5:33 PM
I remember when I wanted to record music but didn’t know where to start because I was a kid with no money or friends with a studio. This article would’ve been perfect for me even though I recorded on a phone before. This article is reliable because you can go straight to the app. This is major info especially to aspiring musicians without the funds or resources to do what they love to do.
Josh McCormick's curator insight, November 15, 2020 10:30 PM
In this world going on now, I can see how everything is going to the digital age. I believe that having more than one way to record on the GO is a must now a days. In the Music Field I strongly agree with this Idea, since a lot of people cant just get up and go into a studio.
Willie Seabrooks's curator insight, April 24, 2021 5:51 PM
I think this article was very informative and provides useful information for musicians and vocal artist.  The source for this article reflects on computer apps that have been in the market for several years. The music recording paps can be downloaded for free and more expensive for add on filters and compressors. The source for this article is creditable and provides up to date information to improve the quality of vocals and musical instruments.

5 iPad Apps to Teach and Learn Guitar on iPad

5 iPad Apps to Teach and Learn Guitar on iPad | iGeneration - 21st Century Education (Pedagogy & Digital Innovation) | Scoop.it
Henry's curator insight, October 23, 2019 3:42 PM
This article is a great reference for anyone looking to learn guitar. All five suggestions are great resources. The interval ear trainer is the reference that is probably the least well known reference but incredibly important. Learning intervals is the foundation to being able to learn songs by ear and often the most overlooked aspect of learning guitar. Anyone who uses all five references will find success in learning the guitar.
