When it comes to learning, every classroom teacher knows how important it is to differentiate the learning styles of students and to know their strengths and weaknesses. The accessibility function on Google for Education is on point, and it is exactly what a teacher needs in the classroom to maintain maximum focus and engagement from the students. With features like "select to speak", "dictation', and "generated transcripts" among many, many others, students who may have a learning disability or a preferred style of studying will benefit from using the accessibility tools found on Google for Education. Having taught eleventh grade U.S. History for the state of Texas end of year assessment for 5 years, I know that these same features are available on the STAAR test. I like to help the students practice using the tools that Google Education offers so that when the EOC comes around, the students will be comfortable and willing to make use of them to help them achieve the best score possible.

I decided to create this GSuite File Link Generator after working in Google Slides. I didn’t want people to access the Google Slides file I was working in, but I always wanted to provide them with the most recent version of that file, but in PDF format. And if you’ve worked with PDFs before, you know that once you save it as a PDF and then share with others, but then decide later that you need to change something in it, you have to go back into Google Slides to edit it, then re-download it as a PDF and then re-share the revised PDF with everyone else. And THAT can be a hassle. With the GSuite File Link Generator, you’ll be able to generate the link in the format you’d like, and then share that ONE LINK so that you’ll never have to go back into Google Slides, Docs or Sheets to download it, and they’ll always have the most recent version of the file they need. So I'm going to show you how to access files in Google Drive offline using the Google Docs offline extension. This comes in handy when you are traveling. It is also a great tool for students and teachers with limited or no Internet access at home.
