Excellent link between mathematics and the digital age we live in today. This online tool simplifies charts and graph for students, and incorporates a digital element in mathematics. By doing this, a graphing lesson can be transformed from the substitution level on the SAMR model, to the redefinition level. This can be done by adding in the digital component, and then students collaborate over the new tool in the classroom.

When developing a lesson for my students, I always incorporate technology in the classroom. I really like assigning projects based on their own research because I see how much they relish in taking control of their own learning and discovering new ideas and inventions that are interesting for them. Using Google Explore, my students can safely search and research topics that are relevant to the lesson and their project. As an educator, I need to be vigilant and on top of how my students are using technology in the classroom. Google Explore allows me to monitor and have peace of mind knowing that my students are using a search engine that is verifiably correct and conducive towards learning.
