Start a new Google Doc and type things in the document. Install the Doc to Slides by Schoolytics Add-on for Google Docs by searching for Schoolytics under Get Add-ons. Go to https://slidesmania.com/ and choose a fun Google Slides presentation. Copy the link to the presentation and paste it into the sidebar of your Google Doc using the Doc to Slides by Schoolytics Add-on. Select "Create Google Slides" and you will be prompted to provide a layout number for the presentation.

Editing images give you the ability to add a professional touch to your presentations and documents. Some of these features are a bit hidden, but once you see the possibilities, your docs and slides will never be the same. No need for fancy Photoshop software to do simple cropping, add a border, a drop shadow, or even mask an image into a shape!
This is a great toll from Google. You can use Google Keep to transcribe text from a document. This is a time saving tip and converts paper docs to digital format that can be accessed anywhere. You need to open Google keep and add a new note. From there add a picture of the text then click on the picture. Click on the snowman (3 dots) select "Grab image text". Simply choose Tools, Keep Notepad then you will be able to insert it into Google slides. This is great for older resources that we know works with our students that now can be used in Google Suite applications.
