40 jaar ervaring De familie Graceffa is al 40 jaar actief in de invoer van Italiaanse voeding in België. Francesco Graceffa startte de activiteiten eind jaren 60 en deze werden geconcretiseerd in 1970 met een voedingszaak te Luik.
Om logistieke redenen verhuisde de hoofdzetel nadien naar de periferie van Brussel (Drogenbos) waar er, na verschillende verbouwingswerken, een opslagplaats van meer dan 2.500m⊃2; werd bijgebouwd. Sinds 2000 heeft Salvatore Graceffa, zoon van de stichter, het bestuur overgenomen. Ditta Graceffa is één grote familie : naast de Graceffa's zelf zijn meer dan de helft van haar medewerkers van Italiaanse afkomst!

The home-style pastificio of La Pasta di Aldo can be found in the medieval village of Monte San Giusto in the Macerata Province part of the famous shoe district. This artisanal pasta is produced at the hand of Maria Alzapiedi and her husband Luigi Donnari. Only the very best local ingredients are sourced, such as the carefully selected free range eggs and a very strict system of production is followed. They wake at dawn to start kneading and stretching the day's pasta dough which is a maximum output of 120kg, which needs to hang dry for a long time; night after night they attentively watch the pasta to judge the exact moment for the pasta to reach the perfect consistency. De Megaphone is gemaakt van keramiek en lijkt wat weg te hebben van een Alpine hoorn. De versterker van en&is werkt niet op een accu of batterij, hij is dus altijd te gebruiken (mits de batterij van je iPhone nog vol genoeg is). De Megaphone is te koop via internet. Most of the ancient ruins in Italy you see are, not surprisingly, Roman. But just an hour south of Salerno is something different… and much older: Greek ruins. The ancient Greek temple of Athena (or "Ceres") The ancient ruins at Paestum are among the only Greek ruins left on Italy’s mainland, and they’re definitely the best-preserved. (Many more wonderful remnants of ancient Greece can be found on the island of Sicily). Plus, although you’re probably used to hearing all about men and male deities when it comes to the ancients, this site is a nice example of how that wasn’t exactly the case: All three of Paestum’s major temples were built in honor of female goddesses. The site also has a gem of an archaeological museum, with some of the most important finds of the Greek and Etruscan civilizations. Another bonus? Although Paestum is, of course, a tourist site, it’s well off the beaten track—meaning that, depending on the season, you might be almost alone with the temples. Founded in 600 B.C. by the Greeks, Paestum was conquered by the Romans in 273 B.C. While you can still see the archaeological signs of their conquest today, the best-preserved, and most spectacular, ruins in Paestum remain Greek.
