Glorilla is a movement (no one can deny that...) It seems that her major critics are only those who can’t get their music heard (get your budget up...) Glorilla is truly a grass roots movement that now is under the guidance of Yo Gotti’s CTG. FNF (F*ckN*ggaFree...) is truly a mixtape hit (the sales numbers are not in play but frfr, this cut has legs (and eyes also with over 24 million views on youtube...) I don’t feel Glorilla ever had any aspirations of being the next Jean Grey. I feel like these are some young ladies are on their way to seeing the world because of their #RatchettMovement and the energy that they give the crowd in her shows. Check out Glorilla FNF) “Your gonna love this one...”

Hip Hop is not just a communications culture, it also a definition of a culture. Are these the children of hip hop? Is this what Grand Master Flash meant when he said “It’s like a jungle sometimes it makes me wonder…?” Did The Ghetto Boys mean this when they said “I think my minds playing tricks on me…?” Were these the children Slick Rick was speaking of in his classic ‘A CHILDRENS STORY'? Are these the kids (or hiphop’s grandchildren…?).
Hip Hop started out as party music and as others wanted to be invited to the party, they started redefining hiphop for their own use to define themselves in hiphop’s eyes. The militants wanted it to be activist music. The players wanted it to be players music. The dj’s wanted it to be dj music and the lyricist wanted it to be about the bars. HipHop as a parent did its best to nuture these children and then theses children had a child… Trap Music (and Trap music grew up hanging out with his cousin gang music, who you didn’t see that much in the hood because at time he was away at one of those facilities #FamilySecrets…).
The real of it is that music for all generations becomes defining moments for that generation in memories and moments and the music is the soundtrack. Is this picture the defining photo of this hiphop generation? Is this their portrait and is the music responsible for this or the labels (film at 11…).
One thing we know for sure is that one day someone will revisit this picture and they will either say “wow that’s how we looked?” or “Wow that’s how we looked…” It’s going to be interesting to hear which one will be the statement when that time comes…
“There’s nothing wrong with the music business that a good song can’t cure…”

Biggie Smalls was one of hiphop’s most prolific artist. It would be interesting if we could have his persective on today’s artist and music. I wonder how Biggie would feel about today’s generation of mumble rappers or today’s drill movement.
Biggie came from the streets of battle rapping vs today’s artist believe that the battles should be on online apps and hiphop sites. Biggie had the incredible skill of story telling off the top of his head vs today’s artist of just stringing together twitter rants and then calling them songs. Has hiphop lost its way in the area of creativity? Maybe. HipHop has become a style of microwave music that really only communicates to segment markets in wayS that make it difficult others to understand their little fun language ( sort of like pig Latin on steroids...) HipHop has become tribe inclusive but market exclusive (and that by itself kills the money for artist...) At the end of the day “rent to own fame” is exactly that RENT TO OWN.
And Being the artist Biggie was: Talent Mattered” Like I said, this would be an interesting conversation.

really the answer is sort of embarrassing. Iggy has always (to this day put out quality cuts…) as a dj very few times has Iggy released a track that lacked energy or wasn’t relevant to whatever she was trying to convey. Iggy experienced an unconscious bigotry from hip hop truist and quite frankly the employees at Def Jam dragged ass on her product trying to get projects they felt that was more “DEF JAM” on the label. This reverse bigotry was really unwarranted and left a bad stain on the DefJam’s brand.
Iggy also didn’t help by really pushing the fact that she belonged in hip hop when in reality she belonged in hip pop. Def Jam did a horrible job of getting her message to her buying audience 12–24 suburban white females and that sank her popularity. If Iggy was on Atlantic (I can’t believe I’m saying this…) She would have been a massive HipPop star. Wrong label that didn’t really try to sell her because of their preconceived notions about her and her music.

No doubt in my mind, it Azealia Banks. This young lady has both vocal overskills and rap skills. Her antics overshadow her talent but don’t get i confused, she is the truth. Very few rapper have her lyrical agility and very few singer have her vocal range. She is the truth as I have said. Azealia may be too talented and that might be the reason she won’t get on a hit song. All her music pushes the envelope and sometimes hits are just simple good songs.

Is hip hop under attack (that's evident...)? Are there folks out there who are using hip hop as a scapegoat for them not raising their kids right (of course...) Are there industry professionals who have used gangster rap to get rich (now you know the answer to that...) Is Young thug being used as a sacrifice by some to get headlines and political currency (you see where I'm going with this...) Check out page 1.
Lizzo is a sales monster (no-one can argue with that success)? That's page 2.
Why is hip-hop mad at Jack Harlow about his success (come on, because he's white he has an edge in urban music culture... #For Real)? Page 3
J Profet has found his lane in HipPopDance and now he is on his way to share the dance experience with you (everyone loves to dance...) Page 4

We have a problem in the music industry, and it started when industry professional thought it was better to sell the brand versus selling songs (I mean it is the music business ain't it...) By sacrificing sales for streams we have created a drive by industry that rewards music fan to not spend or buy anything (great business model huh...)
Capella Grey (who is he?) and Chloe Bailey (there is no way you don't know her...) have a groove covermix called GAYLIS (shemix). This sexy and honest cut is a dj's dream for hookah joints and I really like it. Like I said this cut is sexy and honest (theirs's not a lot of cuts out now that are...) So why no industry buzz? Because industry marketing professional can no longer see past a budget to recognize a hit song (What's your budget?) and they have done an effective job of training fans not to buy (which was really dumb...) The only way you truly become a superstar is to have real sales, not this massive marketing megaphone that creates no actual sales.
This is a unique and interesting cut and you are gonna love this groove. Check out Capella Grey's GAYLIS ft Chloe Bailey

Lyrics:
In the whip on a Tuesday night got the music high
And you by my side sideTop down and the moon is highAnd the mood is right
And you by my side side
Late night conversations
Electric emotionsSprinkled with a little bit of sex
And it’s a potion
Late night bodies achingMental stimulationSprinkled with a little bit of sex appeal
And its a moment
I been catching love off a back-boardRunning from your love that’s what this track for
Fuckin every bitch and never tell ‘em noI’m pushin p they black and white an oreoI been catching love off a back-boardRunning from your love that’s what this track for
Buying n****s bitches from the corner storeThug why you wanna do that I don’t need this love
Ball like LeBron James in the finalsWe 14-hundred just like a minorI’m yelling ‘Free Big Meech’ with designers15 million hoes cause I’m undecidedI’m kicking shit karate ohhhhI’m serving bricks in somebody hoodFucked a bitch catch a charlie ohhhhGucci flip flops and joggers ooohhh
In the whip on a Tuesday night got the music high
And you by my side sideTop down and the moon is highAnd the mood is right
And you by my side side

And it’s a potion
Late night bodies achingMental stimulationSprinkled with a little bit of sex appeal
And its a moment
Feeling fly tonight, yeah... yeahGoing with the motherf******g vibe... yeahIt’s going down tonight, oh yeahDon’t you leave don’t you move, bada bing bada boom bout you

J Profet like many other new artist has a dream of having his music heard (and this cat has really nice music. With his quasi dance/pop style, his music moves the dance floor, but his music being heard is not his only mission. J Profet plans to leverage quality music to open doors for new profitable opportunities (That different...)
All artist come into the music business to make either a creative statement or to change their lives financially. J Profet (just as his name states...) is in this for the business. “Hey the creative is cool but this music can become another arm in my financial stability and there’s nothing wrong with that...:
“After dealing with many industry situations over the years, I’ve seen the importance of taking care of not just the music, but the business also. It is THE MUSIC BUSINESS, right?” You’re right J, it is THE MUSIC BUSINESS.
