Apple to make baidu default iOS search engine Apple to make baidu iPhone search engine iPad search engine Apple Baidu relationship grews stronger China... Bloomberg reports that Apple is about to announce Baidu as default search engine for iOS devices in China. The announcement would be made as early as next week following the fact that Baidu is China's most used web search engine. Over 80% of China population uses Baidu for searching web. The decision to make it as default search engine will have definite reactions on Apple's relationship with Google. A deal with Baidu, which handles about 80 percent of China’s Internet search queries, fits with a plan by Apple Chief Executive Officer Tim Cook to gain a bigger toehold in the largest mobile-phone market. It also gives users an alternative to Google Inc., which competes with Apple in the market for mobile software and advertising. The decision of Apple to make Baidu will definitely help both Apple and Baidu in their own means. Apple will benefit from providing users the most used search engine so that they don't need to change the search engine every time they use safari and Baidu will benefit from huge traffic that will directly come from Apple device which account 20% of sales in China. “This is definitely going to help Baidu,” said Joshua Maa, chief executive officer at Madhouse Inc., an advertising company in Shanghai that specializes in marketing on mobile devices. The deal will boost Baidu’s wireless advertising business, he said.

iOS6 To Add Siri For iPad3 Siri to be added for iPAd3 in iOS6 Siri release in iPad3 during WWDC Apple to release iOS6 during World wide developer conference. Sources reveal that Apple is planning to add Siri for iPads in iOS6. Siri, the most powerful artificial assistant to be integrated in iOS6 for iPads. Currently Siri is supported only on iPhone4S and can be ported on all other devices running iOS 5 + using Spire or spite. However there was no such official announcement from Apple to add Siri support for iPhone4 and iPads.
Many questions were raised when Apple announced that Siri will be limited to iPhone4S only. As iPad2 has the same configuration and technical specifications so it should have been released for iPad2 too. Siri still running in beta development stage would probably launch with iOS6 which is expected to release during world wide developer conference that is to happen in June.

iPhone 4 Software Update iOS 5.1.1 Apple Releases new software update for iPhone 4 GSM uses. Apple has pushed an update for iPhone4 GSM iOS 5.1.1 just after Absinthe 2.0 untethered jailbreak for iOS 5.1.1 was announced. New iOS 5.1.1 build is (9B208) This update has been pushed currently for iPhone4 GSM users only. This update for iPhone 4 doesn't mean that Apple has patched the Chronic Dev-Team exploits. It is just not possible to patch the exploits in such a shot time and release an update.
If you are an iPhone 4 GSM user and rely on iOS 5.1.1 untethered jailbreak, DO NOT UPDATE to the new iOS 5.1.1 release from Apple. This means, do not directly update your devices through iTunes or you'll lose the jailbreak until we hear anything from Pod2g or Chronic Dev-Team.

Macbook air Retina Display launch in wwdc12 world wide developer conference... 9to5mac reports that Apple is planning to add Retina Display in MacBook Air. Here's what 9to5Macposted on Retina Displays coming to MacBook Airs. Apple’s new MacBook Air will not see major changes across the entire computer like the next-generation MacBook Pro, but this update will truly be all about the Retina Display. Apple is preparing both new 11.6-inch and 13.3-inch models. These new Airs lack notable design changes, but feature fast and power-efficient Ivy Bridge processors and improved graphics engines to support the Retina Display, according to supply chain sources. The new Airs will also use improved Apple internal battery technology in order to support the battery life required by high-pixel-density screens such as the Retina Display, according to sources familiar with prototype versions of the super-thin notebook’s internal components. It has hardly been an year when Apple initially launched MacBook Air. The design has raised a serious challange to Apple competitors on how to compete with Apple's sleek yet Powerful MacBook Air which is slightly thinner when compared to your thumb. The new MacBook Air is supposedly sheduled to launch somewhere in September.

iPhone 6.15 baseband downgrade solution iPhone baseband downgrade possible soon how to downgrade iPhone baseband ? Phone Dev-Team senior member Musclenerd has just confirmed that iPhone3GS and iPhone3Gbaseband downgrade will soon be possible with all the pieces together, downgrade seems possible for these devices. This will be beneficial to those iPhone users who updated their baseband to 6.15 iPad's baseband by losing their GPS. Musclenerd tweeted that great progress has been made on downgrade of6.15 baseband. He also mentioned that all the pieces are in place so we can expect an update to redsn0w soon, which will allow downgrading of 6.15 baseband to any of the unlockable baseband. iPhone Baseband Downgrade With Apple planning to release iOS6 for devices tomorrow, it is most likely that iOS6 will not support iPhone3GS indicating that Apple will no longer support software updates for iPhone3GS just like it was during the release of iOS5 and iPhone3G was left out. This could be the right time for iPhone Dev-Team to release a baseband downgrade tool as Apple would not release any further software update to patch it. iPhone Dev-Team has also been working on iPhone4 baseband but for the moment the good news is for iPhone3G and iPhone3GS users only.

iOS6 Launch In WWDC 2012 Apple to launch iOS6 during WWDC 2012 iOS6 to bring new features and enhanced UI improvemnets for iPhones iPads and iPods. We have just received a photo that confirms that Apple would certainly be talking about iOS6, the successor of iOS5 which is the world's most secure and advanced operating system. The image clearly say iOS6 which indicates that Apple would be announcing iOS6 during the WWDC 2012 which is starting from Monday June 11-15 in San Francisco. iOS6 WWDC 2012 Banner Earlier we have discussed that Apple might be launching new Mac Books during WWDC along with the new iPhone and iPad Mini. The most important of all was the iOS6 which runs on all iPhones, iPads and iPods. Now that its confirmed that Apple would be launching iOS6 during this conference, the big question is will iOS6 support iPhone3GS or will iOS5.1.1 be the last update of iPhone3GS? Nothing can be confirmed as of now but if we check history the same thing happend with iOS5 and iPhone3G. iPhone3G was left out because of limitations of RAM and processing speed. It seems likely that Apple would want its 3GS users to either sulk for not supporting iOS6 or to upgrade their devices to iOS6 compatible devices.

Today we are sharing the video of the new iPhone5 back panel which clearly suggests that Apple is making the next iPhone bigger than the existing models to compete with the android phones which have huge displays. The leaked back panel suggests 5 major changes that Apple is going to make in the upcoming iPhone5: Bigger Screen Ultra Micro Sim Card Tray Bigger Speaker for better sound Smaller charging port Headphone jack moved to bottom The video is pretty clear and the above mentioned changes can easily be observed and one more thing that is different with the iPhone5 back panel is that the headphone jack is placed in the bottom just like it is placed in iPods. The size of the screen would be 4" inch and it looks pretty impressive if compared with iPhone4. Lets have a look at the video:

iPad dominates over kindle and galaxy tab in most demanded tablet survey iPad most demanded tablet over kindle fire and galaxy tab. A survey reveals that demand for iPad has been increasing over and over and more users are preferring iPad over kindle in ebook reading device. According to research by ChangeWave in May, the survey included over 2,983 American consumers who have plans to buy the new iPad which reflects the diminishing demand for Kindle which was once the most preferred device for reading books on the go. Survey Report: In the next 90 days, 73 percent of consumers who plan to buy a tablet indicated they will choose Apple's iPad. The remaining 8 and 7 percent went for Kindle Fire and Galaxy Tab respectively. It should be closely observed that although samsung is leading the mobile smartphone market with number of devices sold daily, the demand for Samsung's tablets is relatively negligible. However according to ChangeWave, Samsung has shown positive growth in the tablet market and might just be competing with Apple over a period of time.
Last year, following the launch of the Kindle Fire, ChangeWave found that the $199 device generated impressive demand from consumers, positioning the device to be the first credible competitor to the iPad. But since then, demand for the Kindle Fire has collapsed, as ChangeWave noted that Amazon's device is "floundering."

iOS6 Facebook Integration iOS6 WWDC2012 Release iOS6 Features in iPhone5. With World Wide Developer Conference date closing by, more and more rumors are appearing about the release of iOS6 along with next generation iPhone5. The most recent rumor is about facebook integration into iOS6. According to sources, iOS6 will have complete facebook integration just like iOS 5 has integrated Twitter in the system. The integration would be deep enough that users will be able to like applications and suggest applications on facebook with their friends. The iOS6 facebook integrtaionwould be similar to that of twitter when it comes to sharing pictures over facebook with few taps. Similarly, the integration would be made possible just like that of Twitter's by using a single sign on in settings. Apple is expected to release iOS6, iPhon5 and iPad mini during the world wide developer conference WWDC2012. It should come as no surprise that apple would be releasing atleast 2 of the above mentioned as the rumors are building stronger with every leak of images and minute details of iOS6 are appearing. After doing a simple research in iOS, its very clear that Apple is about to release a new device which could be an iPad or an iPhone.

iPhone5.com whois info changed by Apple. Apple replaces technical and administrative contact details for iPhone5.com domain. Earlier we shared that Apple has filed an intellectual property right cased against iPhone5.com domain probably for the upcoming iPhone launch which is rumored to happen in September. Apple has previously purchased related domains from their respective owners during the launch of iPhone4 and iPhon4S. This time Apple played it in a different way. Apple's request to seek the control of iPhone5.com domain was fulfilled and very soon Apple got control over iPhone5.com. Apple din't have to pay anything to iPhon5.com owners and the site was very soon pulled down and the content was removed. iPhone5.com was previously owned by individual group of Apple enthusiasts who started a forum discussing about various iPhone5 rumors which included images and expected specifications of the upcoming smartphone from Apple. As soon as Apple got control over the domain, the content from the webpage was pulled and all we could see was blank page. Today the status of the website is completely down and the webpage iPhone5.com doesn't load. Interesting, isn't it ? We have checked the whois details of iPhone5.com and to our surprise, Apple has updated the Administrative and Technical contact details along with the DNS server list. Below is the screenshot of whois details of iPhone5.com which has been taken over by Apple. It seems that Apple indeed has plans of releasing iPhone5 and is working on it.
