I think the idea of the airbag is awesome but wonder if it invites people to engage in riskier skiing for example attempting to trigger an avalanche...as absurd a notion as that might seem....

This year, I'm sadly parting from my 2003 (!) Dynastar Legend 8000 that have proven unbelievable skis with exceptionnal longevity. While they were still decent in powder (in spite of their roughly estimated 400 days out), it was no longer possible to even finish a run on dense groomed snow: they just had become too soft.
After having been recommended Black Crows by a guide I skied with over the last Christmas break (Fred Buttard in Val d'Isere - a great guide), I tried several alternatives including the Black Crow Orb but the Camox are such a pleasure to turn and ride that this was a no-brainer.
