I think Robert Greene’s 'Law of Irrationality' is the foundation of what I call 'Quiet Cracking.' It’s that dangerous moment where leaders perform competence while their nervous systems are chemically red-lining.
From my experience, the 'irrationality' Greene describes is often just a body that has run out of bandwidth. I’ve developed a framework called the 42% Rule to help high-performers identify this attrition before it destroys the legacy they’ve built.
