PRIORITIES OF THE YEAR, OBJECTIVES PURSUED AND EXPECTED RESULTS
Facilitating the access of consumers to alternative dispute resolution schemes compliant with Directive 2013/11/EU9 including through measures for vulnerable consumers, developing the networking of national alternative dispute resolution entities, promoting monitoring activities on the functioning and the effectiveness of dispute resolution mechanisms.
Eligible activities
The grants can support a wide range of activities such as promotion and communication, staff training, creation of online interfaces and monitoring tools, networking tools and the organisation of specific workshops.
Objective: Operating grants can be awarded to non-governmental, non-profit-making, independent of industry, commercial and business or other conflicting interests to improve consumers' education, information and awareness. Only European organisations mandated to represent the interests of consumers at Union level by organisations in at least half of the Member States are eligible for funding.
The purpose of this call is twofold:
To conclude a Framework partnership agreements (FPA) for duration of maximum four years - covering the operating years 2015, 2016,2017 and 2018 in order to establish long term cooperation (partnership) between the contracting authority and the selected partner.
To sign specific grant agreements (SGA) with the selected organisation in order to co-finance the functioning of their organisation for 2015 (1 January 2015 to 31 December 2015).
Scope: The primary objectives and activities of the applicant organisation should promote and protect both, health and safety as well as economic and legal interests of consumers in the European Union.

Topic: Joint Action to consolidate andenhance product safety through effective market surveillance throughout the Union
Objective: The proposed joint actions should improve the effective application of Directive 2001/95/EC on General Product Safety (GPSD) through cooperation between national authorities responsible for the assessment, market surveillance and enforcement of the safety of non-food consumer products and services.
Scope: The joint actions may cover one or more of the following aspects of administrative cross-border co-operation activities related to surveillance and enforcement of European Union safety requirements for non-food consumer products:
Product testing;
Market surveillance operations;
Exchange of expertise and development and exchange of best practice related to risk assessment, product testing and market surveillance;
Meetings and workshops included in the project.
In particular, the joint actions may cover the execution of joint or co-ordinated activities, the exchange of information, development of common methods, protocols and check-lists, and database development work.
