I have wondered for a long time why mobile learning has not taken off as quickly as I had expected. I thought that it would take off quickly because of how involved we are with our mobile devices. We use them everyday for anything and everything we can possible think of. This article points out some barriers on why mobile learning has not been completely adopted with open arms. One of the barriers it mentions is older generations don't realize what an amazing tool this is. Which I agree with because most people perceive mobile devices to be a distraction, but if they can find a way to use them at work it would be beneficial for all parties involved. |
