In a world where it is increasingly dangerous to simply trust what we read and see, it is critical that students are taught to approach the world around them with a healthy sense of skepticism to avoid being misled, duped, or scammed.

This survey shone a light on the importance of technology in the process of learning, especially in 2018 which provides substance and relevancy to this survey. Of course, technology is used in most classrooms worldwide and the presence of video sharing platforms such as Youtube and search engines such as Google search have on the process of obtaining information for today's generation. Public social networks such as Twitter also make an inclusion on the list and this is interesting as it shows the growing power that social networks have in providing fast and detailed information. This survey highlights how information is literally at our fingertips.

I really love the idea of QR codes in the classroom. While having posters around the room is great, some concepts are just best explained via video or other media - QR codes are a great way of incorporating other media types into your classroom posters!
