Fantastic resources for children (and teachers) who struggle with defining clearly important maths terms and concepts. This could be useful within lessons as a resource for both teachers and individual students to use. Each definition such as the term 'apex' is displayed in simple, easy to understand language, along with visuals to represent the word more clearly.

MANGAhigh is a fantastic maths tool. Having personally used this within a classroom setting I have found it is very engaging for students have found it hard to participate in classroom activities previously. Content is aligned to the Australian curriculum so teachers are able to make judgements on students based on gaming achievements.

Students are to go to this website, click on the link "Algebra" and completed the "Polynomials" work page. Print screen your result to present to the teacher, along with the answers to these questions.
1. What is a Polynomial, how is it defined in algebraic terms. 2. Solve the following equation, Y= 3x +18 with respect to x.
