An emergency tornado declaration was stated in Nelson County, Kentucky in response to an EF-1 tornado. This was confirmed by damage surveyors from the National Weather Service.

The storm was expected to approach the southeastern coast of the United States on Thursday, possibly near the North Carolina-South Carolina border.

To no ones surprise, the storm is going to be a nightmare for the residents living there. The governors of North and South Carolina declared a state of emergency. Chances are with warming ocean temperatures they are going to find themselves dealing with even larger storms as time goes on.
