Staghorn corals grown in a nursery and replanted at a reef restoration site off Key Biscayne have spawned for the first time which is providing hope that rebuilding Florida’s valuable marine ecosystems may be possible.

This is really interesting to see the innovative ways to approach the decline of coral reefs. I would want to see if this can be applied to other regions of the world. I am concerned though about whether this will just be used as a stalling technique against the changing conditions rather than a solution.
