Today I read about a study regarding information processing and memory decrements by age. What I found interesting was that the researchers did a simulation (using big data analytics) which found that aging brains, because they know so many more words and concepts than younger brains, do take longer to find a word than younger brains but not due to aging, due to the time it takes for the brain to sift through all the words it knows to find the right one.
Perhaps, living more simply could slow brain aging using the argument that less is more and small is beautiful.
