And here we see again how the "slave mentality" is still so ingrained in our society that we don't even know how to begin having a real discussion about how to change it. I haven't seen this movie yet, but from what I've heard, it sounds like a mashup of all of the same tired cliches, beliefs and attitudes about the history and relationships between "Blacks" and "whites" in this country, created by a man who I do actually respect for the MASTERY of the craft itself.

This graphic has been attributed to the conservative party, you know, the one's who don't have a "racist" bone in their bodies! But I say that Barack Obama himself is just as much to blame because of his validation of the "one drop rule" by portraying himself as a Black man. In a country where "race" should no longer be an issue, we have a President that refuses to acknowledge that his "White" mother clearly repudiates his claim to "Blackness". And yet because of continuing prejudism, racism, stupidity and extreme apathy, the "one drop" rule, a foundational pillar for the fictional institution of "Race" is upheld. No wonder these images continue......
